Saleem Ahmed completed his LL.B. in the year 1990 from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, India.
He is a seasoned lawyer having 33 years of vast experience in legal practice wherein he has represented numerous clients on an individual level in varied kinds of matters.
He has also represented the Central Government of India, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, various Government Statutory Bodies and Nationalized Banks in several matters before different courts and tribunals, such as the High Court of Delhi, Trial Courts based in Delhi such as Saket Court, Patiala House Court, Karkardooma Court, Rouse Avenue Court, Tis Hazari Court, Rohini Court as well as Courts based in other parts of the country, Debt Recovery Tribunal, Central Administrative Tribunal etc. His expertise lies in a variety of diverse legal areas, such as Criminal, Civil, Corporate, Commercial, Consumer, Labour, Matrimonial/Family Law, Real Estate and Service matters.
His knowledge and involvement in his area of expertise comes from the practical experience of the many roles he has adopted over the course of his career.

In the past, he has represented one of the most prestigious law enforcement agencies in India, i.e., the Delhi Police Force, in a number of cases, first, as an Additional Standing Counsel (Criminal), GNCTD and subsequently as Officiating Standing Counsel (Criminal), GNCTD for several years. Recently, he has been appointed as the Special Public Prosecutor in the North-East Delhi Riots cases by Delhi Police and has also been appointed by them in the past as a Special Public Prosecutor to represent them in another matter.
Specifically, he also holds a strong expertise in matters dealing with crucial and sensitive, prevalent issues, such as Money Laundering, Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, Economic Offences, Human Rights and Corruption.
Moreover, he also has expertise in matters pertaining to Arbitration and Mediation. He is a member of the Indian Council of Arbitration (ICA), International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR), New Delhi and the Indian Association of Mediators. As a result, he is also empanelled as a Panel Mediator at the Delhi High Court, Mediation and Conciliation Centre.
He is also a member of the Delhi High Court Bar Association, New Delhi Bar Association, and the Indian Islamic Cultural Centre. In the past, he has also been appointed as a member of the committees formed by the National Commission for Women, Government of India. Formerly, he was also a member of other prestigious organizations, such as the International Bar Association, United Kingdom, Russian Centre for Science and Culture, International Institute of Human Rights Society, Insol India, and Delhi Bar Association.
